The Great Falls Clinic is excited to welcome Lila Menzi, NP, to the hospitalist team. Lila is an experienced hospitalist Nurse Practitioner who is highly skilled in acute and intensive care, therapeutic interventions, and CPAP and BIPAP management, among other things.
Lila received her Bachelor of Arts in Clinical and Child Psychology from Alfred University in Alfred, New York in 2003. She then went on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011 from Elmira College in Elmira, New York.
When Lila’s father became ill and needed multiple cardiac surgeries, she was incredibly impressed by the kindness and care the team was able to give to him. This compassion inspired her to pursue a master’s degree and become a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner. Lila’s father passed away in 2015, only two years before she was due to graduate. Before he passed, he made her promise she would not drop out of school even though he knew his passing would be hard on her. Taking this promise to heart, Lila graduated in 2017 from Binghamton University, in Binghamton, New York where she received her Master of Science.
“When I walked across that stage to receive my Master’s degree, I looked up toward the sky and knew my father was watching me,” she said. “I felt so proud.”
Following her education, Lila worked in health care organizations across the New England region of the United States, as well as New York state. Most recently, she worked as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner in the Northern Light Mayo Hospital in Devor-Foxcroft, Maine.
When she is not at work, Lila enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, playing board games, and reading. Lila looks forward to moving to Montana where she and her husband can learn to fly fish together.
Lila is seeing patients at the Great Falls Hospital, at 3010 15th Avenue South in Great Falls. For more information, please call (406) 216-8000.
