Joseph “Chance” Wright, PA-C Joins the Great Falls Clinic Walk-In Care Team

The Great Falls Clinic is happy to welcome Joseph Chance Wright, PA-C, to the Walk-In Team. Joseph has more than 28 years of medical experience in areas such as military medicine, emergency medicine, family medicine, and more.

After high school, Joseph enlisted in the United States Army as a communications specialist. He later completed Airborne School at Fort Benning, Georgia. After his initial service, he earned an associate degree in computer science from Virginia Highlands Community College in Abingdon, Virginia. Realizing he wanted a more hands‑on career, Joseph reentered the Army as a field artilleryman. During a subsequent tour, he discovered and was accepted into the military’s Physician Assistant program. He graduated in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies. In 2000, he completed a master’s degree in the same field from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

Joseph’s patients describe his approach to healthcare as genuine and empathetic. He says he was drawn to urgent care because of his background in emergency medicine.

“After years of emergency medicine work, I was drawn to urgent care because of its perceived simplicity.  I enjoy making decisions that involve logic and risk stratification. I think that is best utilized and applied in the urgent care setting,” Joseph shares.

When he is not caring for patients, Joseph enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He also has a passion for the outdoors and painting.

Joseph will provide expert care at the Great Falls Clinic Walk-In Care, located in the Specialty Center. To learn more about Joseph or to schedule an appointment, please visit gfclinic.com or call 406-454-2171.
