Inspired by her parents, both Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), Lisa developed a passion for medicine early in life, captivated by the science of anesthesia and its significant impact on patient care.
“From an early age, I developed a deep appreciation for the impact anesthesia providers have on patients’ lives and a genuine love for science and physiology. That early exposure inspired me to pursue a career where I could combine technical precision with meaningful patient connection,” shared Lisa.
Lisa began her educational journey by earning an associate degree in nursing from Faulkner State Community College. She then pursued a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Following that, she completed a Master of Science in Nursing, achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA. She spent nine years as a registered nurse, providing critical care to patients of all ages. During her nursing career, she received three nominations for the Daisy Award for Extraordinary Nurses. Her decision to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) was influenced by a personal surgical experience, during which a CRNA provided her with compassionate, professional care that left a lasting impression on her.
Recently, Lisa earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse Anesthesia (DNP-NA) from the University of Arizona in 2025. She was fortunate to complete several anesthesia rotations at Great Falls Hospital, which solidified her decision to relocate to Montana and join the team.
“Having experienced many clinical environments, I can confidently say this group stands out for its collaboration and genuine care for both patients and colleagues. I’m honored to begin my career alongside them and look forward to growing within this community, both professionally and personally.”
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys family time, outdoor adventures, and flying—she’s been a licensed private pilot since age 18.
