Dr. Piluiko is a highly experienced surgeon with extensive training in general, cardiovascular, and cardiothoracic surgery. He earned his medical degree from Chernivtsi State Medical Institute (Bukovinian Medical University) in Ukraine and completed his early surgical training there before pursuing advanced residency and fellowship training in the United States.
His professional background includes a cardiovascular surgery residency at the Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery in Kyiv, Ukraine, followed by an Intermedics Research Fellowship and clinical work within the Cardiovascular Surgery Division at the Texas Heart Institute in Houston. Dr. Piluiko also completed general surgery residency training in Detroit and a cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at Wayne State University/Harper Hospital.
Board‑certified and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Piluiko brings decades of international and U.S.-based clinical experience. We are pleased to have him caring for patients in our community during his time at Great Falls Clinic and Hospital.
