Dr. Peter D. Hanson: A Legacy of Orthopedic Excellence in Helena
Leading the specialty center is Dr. Peter D. Hanson, a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience serving Helena and the surrounding communities. Fellowship-trained in foot and ankle surgery, Dr. Hanson provides expert care across a wide range of orthopedic conditions affecting both the upper and lower extremities.
Dr. Hanson continues a long-standing legacy of care in Helena. As the son of Dr. Harris D. Hanson, founder of the Helena Orthopedic Clinic more than 60 years ago, he carries forward a tradition of serving the community through orthopedic medicine.

In addition to orthopedic services, the Capital City Specialty Center offers expanded access to specialty care through pulmonology outreach services provided by Patrick Smith, FNP, available on a recurring basis.
