Great Falls Hospital Welcomes Orthopedic Surgeon Todd Cameron, DO
Great Falls Hospital is pleased to welcome Todd Cameron, DO, a board‑certified orthopedic surgeon, to the orthopedic surgery team. With more than 22 years of experience, Dr. Cameron is widely respected in the community for his clear communication style, patient education, and consistently positive surgical outcomes.
Education and Medical Training
Dr. Cameron earned his Bachelor of Science from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. He went on to receive his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from A.T. Still University’s Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri.
Following medical school, Dr. Cameron completed a traditional rotating internship at Mount Clemens General Hospital in Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
Orthopedic Surgery Residency and Fellowship
In 2004, Dr. Cameron began his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Riverside County Regional Medical Center in Moreno Valley, California. His training emphasized:
- Sports medicine
- Total joint replacement
- Orthopedic trauma
- Spine care
- Hand and upper extremity surgery
During his residency (2004–2008), he also completed extensive rotations at Children’s Hospital of Orange County and Kaiser Permanente in Fontana, California.
Dr. Cameron further advanced his expertise by completing a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Life Outside the Clinic
Outside of caring for patients at Great Falls Hospital, Dr. Cameron enjoys skiing, hunting, and hiking. He also treasures time with his family.
“I spend my free time helping my lovely wife raise our large family,” he shares.
