Leading Communications Across a Provider-Led Health System
Over more than 13 years at Great Falls Clinic, Samantha has held leadership responsibilities across marketing, public relations, business development, physician recruitment, compliance, employee engagement, medical staff services, and strategic communications. That range matters in practice. Healthcare communication succeeds or fails on accuracy, and someone who has worked inside credentialing, recruitment, and compliance understands what a service line actually does before writing a word about it. The result is a comprehensive working knowledge of healthcare operations, provider relations, patient engagement, and community health initiatives. Samantha applies that knowledge to the campaigns, announcements, and outreach efforts that introduce new providers to the region, explain specialty services to the patients who need them, and strengthen the partnerships that extend care across North Central Montana.
Advancing Philanthropy Through the Legacy Foundation
As Executive Director of the Great Falls Clinic Legacy Foundation, Samantha leads the philanthropic work that supports the organization’s mission beyond the exam room. She also serves on the Foundation’s Board of Directors. In this role, she develops and manages initiatives centered on community partnerships, donor engagement, and organizational growth, connecting the generosity of local supporters to programs and resources that benefit patients throughout the region. The Foundation role complements her marketing and communications responsibilities, since both depend on the same foundation of community trust and clear, honest storytelling about the needs that exist and the care available to meet them.
Education and Professional Training
Samantha’s formal education and ongoing professional development both reflect the breadth of her role:
- Master of Business Administration, University of Montana
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Montana State University Billings
- Professional development and leadership training in healthcare administration, medical staff services, physician recruitment, and compliance
- Professional development and leadership training in nonprofit leadership, strategic communications, marketing, and public relations
Serving the Great Falls Community
Samantha’s commitment to North Central Montana extends well past her professional responsibilities. She has served on numerous local boards, including the City of Great Falls Zoning Commission and Board of Adjustment, the Lewis and Clark Foundation Board of Directors, and the Great Falls Clinic Legacy Foundation Board of Directors. For more than 13 years, she has coordinated American Red Cross blood drives, work that directly supports the regional blood supply that hospitals depend on. She has also served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, representing the interests of children involved in the court system. Taken together, that record reflects someone whose community involvement is sustained rather than occasional, and it informs how she approaches outreach on behalf of the Clinic.
Life Outside the Clinic
Outside of work, Samantha spends her time with her family and embraces the adventures of motherhood. She has a passion for thrifting, DIY projects, crafting, and interior design, and she enjoys finding creative ways to transform spaces and give new life to vintage treasures. She is also a regular supporter of local businesses and community events throughout North Central Montana. You can connect with Samantha on LinkedIn.
