Great Falls Clinic and Hospital Announces Ned Hill as Market Chief Executive Officer

Great Falls Clinic and Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Ned Hill, FACHE, as Market Chief Executive Officer, effective August 24, 2026.

Ned joins Great Falls Clinic and Hospital with more than 25 years of healthcare leadership experience and a strong record of helping hospitals grow services, strengthen quality, support physicians and staff, and improve access to care for the communities they serve.

Most recently, Hill served as Chief Executive Officer for HCA Healthcare’s South Tampa market, overseeing a multi-campus healthcare system that included more than 1,200 employees and over 400 physicians. Throughout his career, Ned has led healthcare organizations ranging from independent community hospitals to multi-campus health systems. He is known for building strong relationships with physicians, employees, community leaders, and patients while guiding organizations through growth and transformation. His experience spans hospital operations, physician recruitment, strategic planning, service line development, and quality improvement.

As Great Falls Clinic and Hospital continues to expand services and meet the evolving healthcare needs of Central Montana, Hill’s leadership will help build upon a long-standing commitment to keeping high-quality care close to home.

“Ned understands the important role that local healthcare organizations play in the lives of patients and families,” said Jeremy Clark, President of Surgery Partners’ North Division. “Since working closely with Great Falls beginning in April, I’ve had the opportunity to see firsthand the dedication of our providers and staff, and I am confident Ned will be a strong partner for them and a visible leader within our community. His experience, values, and collaborative leadership style make him the right person to help guide Great Falls Clinic and Hospital into the future.”

Ned said he was drawn to Great Falls because of its strong reputation, provider-led culture, and deep connection to the community.

“I am honored to join Great Falls Clinic and Hospital and become part of an organization that has served this community for more than a century,” said Hill. “What impressed me most throughout this process was the commitment of the physicians, caregivers, and employees who come to work every day focused on delivering exceptional care. Healthcare is ultimately about people, and I look forward to listening, learning, and building relationships throughout the Great Falls community as we work together to ensure patients continue to have access to outstanding care close to home.”

Ned holds a Master of Public Administration with an emphasis in Health Service Administration from the University of Utah and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), a distinction recognizing leadership and professional achievement in healthcare management.

The leadership transition follows a national search and reflects Great Falls Clinic and Hospital’s continued commitment to providing exceptional care while supporting future growth and innovation across the region.

“We are grateful for Jeremy’s leadership over the past several months,” said Dr. Sharla Hart, Chief of Staff. “His steady guidance has helped position the organization for success. As part of our provider-led culture, physicians were actively involved throughout the search process, helping identify a leader who aligns with our commitment to exceptional patient care, clinical excellence, and service to our community. We are excited to welcome Ned and look forward to partnering with him as we continue advancing healthcare throughout North Central Montana.”
