Allison Hanson, PTA, Joins the Great Falls Clinic Physical Therapy Department!

The Great Falls Clinic is pleased to welcome Allison Hanson, a licensed physical therapy assistant (PTA), to our Physical Therapy team. Allison is an experienced PTA and has worked at a nearby healthcare facility since 2020. As a PTA, Allison focuses on assisting patients with diverse mobility needs.

Allison graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant degree at Great Falls College MSU in 2020. Allison’s student rotations were completed at Lewistown’s Central Montana Medical Center and at Mountain View Physical Therapy. After graduation, Allison worked as a PTA in Shelby before joining the Great Falls Clinic.

With her experiences in outpatient, inpatient, and skilled nursing facility settings, Allison is familiar with a variety of techniques to achieve maximum mobility benefits for patients. Allison applies various skills such as applying modalities, joint mobilizations, range of motion, manual muscle testing, bed mobility education, transfers, gait training, muscle energy technique, and proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation techniques. She has assisted patients in a range of specialties, including neuromuscular, geriatric, pediatrics, and sports therapy.
