Dr. Blackman provides orthopedic services including pediatric, adolescent and adult orthopedics, sports medicine, total joint reconstruction, including anterior approach hip replacement, hip arthroscopy and trauma.
Dr. Blackman received his medical degree with honors from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Washington in 2008. He then went on to complete his residency in orthopedic surgery at Washington University, Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri in 2013. Dr. Blackman completed his fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Mayo Clinic Department of Orthopedics in Rochester, Minnesota in 2014. Dr. Blackman has volunteered much of his time to supporting local sports teams as a medical professional, most recently volunteering for Wentzville Liberty High School and Priory High School in Missouri and the amateur Rockwood Thunder Volleyball team. While he was in training, Dr. Blackman also had the opportunity to work with the Saint Louis Rams (NFL), the Saint Louis Blues (NHL) and the Minnesota Twins (MLB).
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking with his two dogs, kayaking and fishing.
