Dr. Duncan Savage is a board‑certified radiation oncologist and internist with more than three decades of clinical experience. He earned his BS in Biology and MD through the combined six‑year program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College, followed by residency training in Internal Medicine at the University of Wisconsin and Radiation Oncology at the University of Rochester. Dr. Savage also completed fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology at Dartmouth‑Hitchcock Medical Center. He served as Section Chief of Radiation Oncology at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany, New York, from 1991 through 2025, providing continuity of leadership across multiple practice models. His clinical expertise includes IMRT, VMAT, SRS, SBRT, and HDR vaginal brachytherapy, with particular interest in lung SBRT, cancer survivorship, and treatment de‑escalation. Dr. Savage is widely recognized for excellence in patient care and physician leadership, with multiple Physician of the Year and Top Doctor honors.
