Emily Kempf is a board-certified Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner. She has more than 13 years of experience caring for patients with cardiovascular and thoracic conditions. Emily is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). She specializes in general cardiology, heart failure management, structural heart disease, electrophysiology, and pre- and post-operative cardiac surgery care.

Emily has extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including cardiovascular intensive care, advanced heart failure programs, structural heart interventions, and cardiothoracic surgery. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for individuals with acute and chronic heart conditions.

Advanced Clinical Experience

Emily brings more than 13 years of advanced cardiovascular and cardiothoracic clinical experience, including care of patients with heart failure, structural heart disease, electrophysiology conditions, and complex cardiovascular disease. Furthermore, her background includes management of critically ill patients in cardiovascular intensive care units (CVICU), inpatient and outpatient cardiology services, and pre- and post-operative cardiac and thoracic surgery care. She has extensive experience caring for patients undergoing advanced therapies and procedures, including TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, ventricular assist device (VAD) therapy, and cardiac transplantation, with a focus on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered cardiovascular care.
