Dr. Paul Miller, Orthopedic Spine Surgeon
Joins the Great Falls Clinic Orthopedics Team
April 13, 2021 – The Great Falls Clinic is pleased to welcome Paul Miller, DO, orthopedic spine surgeon, to the Great Falls Clinic and to our Orthopedics team. Dr. Miller is a Montana native, originally from Conrad, Montana, and is excited to transition his practice to the Great Falls Clinic. Dr. Miller will join Drs. Andrew Blackman, Michael Bryant, Gregg Pike and PA Dave Crossley to expand orthopedic services offered throughout Northcentral Montana. Dr. Miller specializes in conditions of the spine and his clinical interests include general orthopedics for pediatric and adult patients, minimally invasive lumbar and cervical spine procedures, general spine procedures including cervical arthroplasty, endoscopic carpal tunnel release, orthopedics trauma and fracture care, and total joints and arthroscopic knee and shoulder procedures.
Dr. Miller received his undergraduate degree from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana in 2006 and went on to complete his doctorate of osteopathic medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010. He completed his internship at Mercy Suburban Hospital in East Norriton, Pennsylvania in 2011 before going on to complete his residency in orthopedic surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 2015. Dr. Miller completed his fellowship in Adult Spinal Surgery at The Spine Institute of Arizona in Scottsdale, Arizona in 2016.
After completing his fellowship in 2016, Dr. Miller moved back to Montana and accepted a job in Great Falls in 2016 before accepting a new position with the Great Falls Clinic in 2021.
Fun fact: Dr. Miller’s father, Dr. Frederick ‘Fred’ Miller, was an internal medicine physician and long-time partner of the Great Falls Clinic. Dr. Fred Miller retired after 12 years of service to the Great Falls Clinic in 2016. We are very excited about this special opportunity to add his son, Dr. Paul Miller, to our team!
In his free time, Dr. Miller enjoys Montana’s great outdoors including camping, hunting, fishing, and mountain biking. He also enjoys woodworking, football, golf and restoring muscle cars. He used to be a diesel mechanic and worked as one throughout college.
Dr. Miller is a member of many associations, including the American Association of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, Resident Member of the Philadelphia Orthopedic Society, American Osteopathic Association, North American Spine Society and the International Society for Advancements in Spine Surgery.
