The Great Falls Clinic is happy to welcome Zane Bendig, NP-C to the Orthopedic Spine Team. Zane is a driven nurse practitioner with over 16 years of experience. Zane shares that his background in Fire Rescue and Emergency Services sparked his passion for caring for others.
After over a decade of EMS work, Zane began to pursue a medical career and began this journey in Denver, Colorado. In 2008, Zane obtained his Emergency Medical Technology and Paramedic certification from Denver Health; later that year he earned an Emergency Medical Technician certification from Red Rocks College in Arvada, Colorado. He went on to pursue a Doctorate in chemistry from the University of Colorado Boulder, which he completed in 2009. Zane continued his education the following year when he attended Regis University in Denver, Colorado; in 2012 he graduated with as a Registered Nurse. To round out his schooling, Zane spent four years at Chamberlin College of Nursing where he graduated with a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Family Nurse Practitioner degree in 2019.
Zane is a familiar face at the Great Falls Clinic and Hospital as he has spent the past two years caring for patients in the inpatient hospital and critical care unit as a hospitalist. He enjoys the comradery of the tightknit crew at both the Hospital and Clinic, and says this environment is what kept him. Zane looks forward to narrowing his scope of expertise and strengthening his relationships with his new peers as he transitions to the orthopedics spine department.
