Great Falls Clinic Welcomes Award-Winning Vascular Surgeon Dr. Pantelis Hadjizacharia
The Great Falls Clinic is proud to welcome Pantelis Hadjizacharia, MD, to its cardiac surgery team. With more than 13 years of experience, he has earned national recognition as a board-certified vascular and endovascular surgeon. Additionally, many of his patients know him as Dr. Pan, reflecting his approachable and patient-centered care style.
Recognized Excellence in Vascular Surgery
In 2022, Dr. Hadjizacharia received the Healthgrades Vascular Surgery Excellence Award. This honor, in turn, recognizes his exceptional surgical outcomes and commitment to high-quality patient care. As a result, his expertise strengthens the Great Falls Clinic’s ability to deliver advanced vascular services across Montana.
Education and Training
Dr. Hadjizacharia earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. He then went on to receive his medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies.
Following medical school, he completed extensive advanced training, including:
- First, a research fellowship at the University of Southern California (Los Angeles)
- Next, a general surgery internship at USC/LA County General Hospital
- After that, a general surgery residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine (Tucson)
- Finally, a vascular and endovascular surgery fellowship at the University of Maryland, completed in 2015
Through this comprehensive training, he developed advanced skills in complex vascular care.

Dr. Hadjizacharia is dedicated to lifelong learning and staying at the forefront of cardiovascular medicine. In fact, he has authored more than 40 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. Moreover, he regularly presents his work at national and international surgical conferences.
